I wouldnt know that Incubus has a new album if it wasnt for Manila Concert Scene announcing the band’s “If Not Now, When?” World Tour here in the Philippines. And I was like YES! I CANT WAIT! Because it was such a long absence since Light Grenades (2006). I like to here what’s new with Incubus. With “Adolescents” as the first single from “If Not Now, When?” album which is yet to be released on July 12, 2011. But I am such a lucky gal to already have the copy of the album. :D Definitely the new album is different, their music have changed, i find it less than what Incubus used to sound. I’m expecting something that’s going to get you kick, push, jump but it just dont give you that energy. Not enough to do “Lotus Flower” moves inspired by Thom Yorke. :))

if it wasnt for Jam 88.3 playlist, i wouldnt have found my breather from electronica, trance, or house music. [such a buzz in the head. :))] if The Knife and MGMT would collaborate, they would be the sound of The Naked and Famous. listening to “Punching In A Dream” sounds a bit MGMT’s “Kids”. they throw a retro tempo with a laid-back feel. the Passive Me, Aggressive You is quite a fun album to listen to. ^^ damn! i wish i have a car! :))

one of my favorite indie bands! i think the best ! always an “eargasmic” experience with Paul Banks! i want to marry him! ;)) the Joy Division (love will tear us apart) really had a great influence to a lot of the indie bands. stretched to bands like Interpol, The Bravery, The Strokes, She Wants Revenge, Sheila and the Insects (local) .. few of the bands that i could think and heard of.

before. ive known Interpol only with their 3 songs: evil, slow hands, obstacle 1 .. never bothered to get their albums. but i wish i did long time ago. i bet it would still be playing in my record player up to now. and it is. very much! i do really have a great fondness to dark. soft and mellow. love and broken. music is the only thing that helps me stop hearing myself from debating on whatever things that i have to deal. :|
